Industrial - Voltage Meter, 5 VDC

Industrial-grade (NEMA-rated enclosure). 5 VDC. Wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor.

Industrial - Voltage Meter, 5 VDC, UpKeep Edge wireless sensor

Overview

Wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor. This sensor is capable of measuring voltage up to 5 VDC by connecting the leads on the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured.

How They Work

  1. The sensor measures interface & data using its integrated sensing element at configurable intervals.
  2. Readings are transmitted wirelessly to the UpKeep Edge gateway via the 900 MHz protocol, with Encrypt-RF security.
  3. UpKeep Edge processes incoming data in real time, comparing readings against user-defined alert thresholds.
  4. When thresholds are breached, instant notifications are sent via text, email, or phone call to designated team members.
  5. All data is logged for historical trending, compliance reporting, and predictive maintenance analysis.

Applications

  • Custom sensor integration
  • Legacy equipment connectivity
  • Process control interfacing
  • Multi-sensor data collection

Questions about this sensor

What does the Industrial - Voltage Meter, 5 VDC measure?
Wireless voltage meters are capable of measuring the voltage off another device, battery, or sensor. This sensor is capable of measuring voltage up to 5 VDC by connecting the leads on the sensor to the positive and ground terminals of the device being measured.
Where is the Industrial - Voltage Meter, 5 VDC typically installed?
Common placements include custom sensor integration, legacy equipment connectivity, process control interfacing. It uses a NEMA-rated industrial enclosure, so it holds up to wash-down, outdoor, and high-vibration locations.
What does it need to work?
An UpKeep Edge gateway within about 1,200 ft. One gateway supports 50 or more sensors, and readings reach UpKeep over the gateway's cellular, Ethernet, or Modbus connection.
What happens when a reading is out of range?
UpKeep opens a work order against the asset and notifies the assigned technician. You set the thresholds for each interface meters & sensor individually.
