We’re so excited to welcome Domonique to the team this week! Domonique is joining us as our Business Development Representative, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic to have her on board! Here is our interview with her!

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family today, Domonique! Tell us a little about yourself!

I am originally from Queens, NY. I moved to Holly Springs, NC, and grew up there. When I graduated from college, I moved to Raleigh, NC, and have been here since.

How did you first get into Sales?

I needed a job when I graduated, and my cousin pointed out an opportunity for me to sell to consumers. I did that for about two years and then decided that I wanted to expand my role and get involved in the tech industry since it was booming in the Raleigh area.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

I am excited to join UpKeep because I believe in the solution. I think all companies should have a CMMS to protect themselves, and I know that UpKeep will lead the industry in this, so it’s cool to be on the winning team.

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

It’s been awesome so far! Everyone is super nice and really helpful. I’ve been warmly welcomed by everyone here which makes me feel like I belong. The training has been thorough and I am learning new things every day.

Domonique, you mentioned you are back in school for a degree in Biology - what is it that you truly love about Biology?

I love all things Science and Math. Biology is fun for me because it doesn’t just tie me to learning about genes and heredity. I am learning about animals, food, humans, etc. So, everyday biology challenges me to expand my thinking.

Finally, and most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

If I were a kitchen utensil, I would be a big spoon with holes in it. I am very good at retaining the things I need and letting go of what is unnecessary.

Welcome, Domonique!
