Uninstalling is just as easy — and because Marketplace apps run on top of your existing UpKeep data rather than storing their own, removing one costs you nothing. Install or Clone: Two Ways to Get an App

There are two ways to get an app from the Marketplace, and the difference matters.

No. Marketplace apps are free, and the Marketplace is available on every UpKeep plan. There’s no limit on how many apps you can install.

I change an app after I install it?

Not the installed version — installing gives you a managed copy that UpKeep maintains, so you use it as built. If you want to change how an app works, clone it. A clone is your own copy, and you can configure and customize it however you like.

What happens if an app I installed gets updated?

You get the updated version automatically. UpKeep manages every published app, so don’t expect sweeping changes — it’s bug fixes and net improvements, delivered without you doing anything.

What happens to my data if I uninstall an app?
