Welcoming Hilary Wilson to the UpKeep family as a Project Coordinator!!

We're so excited to have Hilary Wilson joining the team this week! Hilary comes from a background in consumer insights and social impact, and know that she'll have a huge impact on our growing Operations team! Here's a little bit more about her.

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family, Hilary! Tell us a little about yourself.

I've lived in a bunch of different states, but have been here in LA for 8 years. I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Psychology and am a proud Bruin! I've worked in several different industries including the non-profit, consumer product, and public health space, but I'm excited to be back in the tech world.

How did you first get into Operations?

Ops is a far-reaching team in any office and they're often the go-to resource for employees. My goal in the workplace is to have a tangible impact and I recognized that being a part of Operations provides a daily opportunity to do that.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

I love the company mission, the constant focus on our customers, the awesome work environment, and the incredible opportunity for growth that comes from joining a fast-growing start-up. 

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

The culture here is amazing and unlike any place I've ever worked. I look forward to coming in each day and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy their job. I've never worked in an environment quite like UpKeep and am so grateful to be here!

We have to know - after living in many different U.S. states, which was your favorite and why? Is there one that you think you’ll live in again?

Colorado was definitely my favorite. The scenery is stunning no matter where you turn, and there's so many amazing hiking trails within a short car ride. It's hard not to be outdoorsy there! I hope to live in Colorado again, but until that happens, I love going back to visit.

And finally, most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

Definitely a crockpot. Like me, it's versatile, reliable, and high impact!
