Resumen de la conferencia y exposición de plantas confiables de 2022

UpKeep was honored to participate in this year’s Reliable Plant Conference & Exhibition, held July 25th to the 28th at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL! It’s safe to say the UpKeep team got some much needed Reliability & Relaxation at the conference. Here, we’ll go over some of the highlights from our time there.

Practical Plans and Actionable Advice

The event started strong with a great Opening Ceremony from Bennett Fitch, Chief Strategy Officer at Noria Corporation. Fitch shared an action plan for bringing maintenance and reliability communities together to tackle shared challenges.

And we can’t talk about our Reliable Plant involvement without mentioning the keynote presentation given by UpKeep Founder and CEO, Ryan Chan. Chan’s keynote was “Asset Operations Management: The Future of Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations.” The keynote introduced Asset Operations Management, an operating principle founded on the belief that asset-intensive organizations have much to gain by adopting new approaches to data, collaboration, and communication. 

During the keynote, Chan also gave attendees copies of the book he wrote on the subject, which you can learn more about here.

Another highlight was the stellar panel “Building and Sustaining a Strong Reliability Culture.” Chan was on the panel along with Megan Johnson (Plant Manager, Blue Buffalo), Garrett Bapp (Senior Technical Services Advisor, Petro-Canada), Nathan Wright (President, Transformational Performance Solutions LLC) and facilitator Charli Matthews (CEO, Empowering Brands).

Noria did an excellent job organizing the event’s Learning Sessions. The presentations that the UpKeep team attended were incredible, filled to the brim with learning and knowledgeable speakers. 

Conversations and Connections in the Exhibition Hall

We have to say, our booth at Reliable Plant was epic! Our Founder and CEO, Ryan Chan, was there in his iconic red suit, meeting hundreds of experts and learning from each one he met. The UpKeep team also got to meet some of our customers face-to-face and hear and see real-world problems. 

Florida is a wonderful place to hold an event for attendees and accompanying family members. The UpKeep team was so excited to connect with all the maintenance and reliability professionals attending the event. Throughout the past couple years, it’s been hard to connect digitally when one works in the physical world, like in maintenance and reliability. But after these past few days, we’re happy to report that in-person events are back!
