Supporting Our Maintenance Community – Park Ski Area Maintenance

UpKeep Donates to Maintenance Needs in our Communities

We're excited to get in the winter spirit all the way from sunny LA by supporting the Park Ski Area at Living Memorial Park in Brattleboro, Vermont.

The Park Ski Area has been completely operated by volunteer staff since 1997, providing affordable and safe winter activities for local youth. By offering a $5 lift ticket for anyone over the age of five - compared with typical rates of $100-$140 for a day-pass - the Park Ski Area makes skiing convenient and affordable for all age groups. By allowing our grooming and snow making equipment to live indoors, it will allow us to perform service on it in a warm environment, rather than the brisk wind and snow our Vermont winters have to offer. Having a sense of security for the property we have worked hard to own will also be a huge advantage.

This donation will help their volunteer staff construct a maintenance building that will store their expensive assets and equipment, removing it from the harsh Vermont-winter weather. Organizer Zach Rounds says,

Having a sense of security for the property we have worked hard to own will also be a huge advantage."

Since the Park Ski Are is a nonprofit, their income goes towards creating the best experience for guests on the mountain. We are proud to join the community and support their efforts to take their maintenance program to the next level!
