100 People in Maintenance That You Should Follow (Part 2)

Making sure society runs smoothly isn’t easy, which is why it’s no understatement to say that those involved in maintenance and reliability are a society of heroes. That said, some individuals stand out because of their contributions to the profession, whether that’s through books, conferences, online leadership contributions, or other methods. Their contributions help reliability professionals all over the world improve both their craft and the facilities where they work, and they deserve recognition.

Over the next month, we’ll be highlighting 100+ individuals in the maintenance and reliability field. These individuals have been chosen based on a combination of maintenance community input, and the kinds of contributions they’ve made to the improvement of professionals. Everyone is listed in alphabetical order, and this second article in the series highlights those with last names H-L.

Ben Handley

Plant Maintenance Manager at PepsiCo

Ben Handley got his start sweeping floors and filling seasoning hoppers at PepsiCo in the UK, and he is now responsible for millions of pounds worth of assets as a plant maintenance manager. Ben works close to the frontlines of operations and maintenance where he proactively drives continuous improvement in his facility. In doing so, he helps the company improve KPIs, reduce unplanned downtime, and eliminate repeat failures.

Terry Harris
