2020 Can't Cancel the Power of Community

As we enter the final month of what has arguably been one of the most challenging years for our industry in recent memory, the Community Team at UpKeep had one burning question — is there more we could be doing?

The Community Team has continued to serve maintenance and reliability professionals through our free webinars and the creation of the Maintenance Community Slack Group. But, we also realized that the families of these professionals have been just as affected from COVID-19's devastation. This year has been especially tough for our industry, as many individuals have been working out at the frontlines while balancing virtual learning for their children, or have been forced out of work altogether. For kids, this year has been incredibly challenging as they learn to cope with new traditions and new ways of doing things.

And thus, the idea for the 2020 Holiday Community Carnival was born! It took place on Saturday, December 12, and it was a day filled with family-friendly events, keynotes and panels lead by industry experts, thousand of dollars worth of gifts and prizes, and lots of cheer!

We may be stuck inside, but the holidays won't be cancelled!
