We are excited to chat with Ben Farrell, our awesome Account Executive! Ben is an all-around amazing teammate! He goes above and beyond to provide support to anyone within our team who has a sales-related question, all while being a true advocate for our customers and providing them with the best care. One thing we absolutely love about Ben is that he brings people together; in fact, he started a Korean Club at UpKeep! Here is his interview with our CEO, Ryan!

Ryan: What's up, Ben! Could you start us off by sharing what your role is at UpKeep, and some of your responsibilities?

Ben: I am an Account Executive here at UpKeep, my role is to empower hard-working technicians, facility managers, and maintenance teams to become more productive through the adoption of new technology.

Ryan: How did you find out about UpKeep? And, what made you want to join the team? 

Ben: I was doing service sales with a company and saw that SaaS was where things were going. I found a posting on BuiltInLA, applied, and landed an interview. After not being quite qualified enough for the original position, I persisted to knock on some digital doors and landed a spot in UpKeep. I knew I wanted to work for UpKeep when I did some market research. I saw that no one was doing it quite like them and said “I want to be a part of this team”.

Ryan: Currently, what’s a project you’ve been working on that you’re really proud of? Or, maybe a project you’ve already completed that you still think about?

Ben: Currently working on crushing my quarterly goal, and I believe I have a pretty good road map to get there. I was also pretty pumped to create a detailed explanation of our original KPI Dashboard that ended up being used to train the entire team.

Ryan: What’s something you love about UpKeep?

Ben: I love that it’s a place where no two days are the same. It’s a fast-paced, yet laid back environment where you know all of your colleagues are capable, passionate, and really down-to-earth. This is the fifth startup I have worked with and it’s rare to find all these pieces together.
