Welcome to the team, Marie!

"I am Marie Diane, I am based in Greenbelt, MD and I am a Database Administrator at UpKeep. I come from a family of DBAs and being a DBA has always been my passion. I love the focus of it and I am that kind of person that likes to pay attention to details and get things done in an orderly manner.

After completing my Bachelor of Sciences in Computer Engineering, I started my internship in an IT organization where I was dealing with databases and a lot of programming. So that helped quite a lot to improve my skills and I started growing some kind of passion for database administration and decided to make a career out of it.

Welcome to the team, Jimmy

"Hi, I'm Jimmy and the new Senior IT Manager at UpKeep! I’m an IT professional who has always been a technology enthusiast. I love to help people with technology and introduce new technologies as well.

I first got into Operations because I always wanted to help people with their technology so I decided to join an IT support team as a first step.  I realized that helping people with technology was my calling and it was very rewarding/fulfilling.

I'm excited to join UpKeep because I have the opportunity to help build out the IT department/business function and to repeat my previous success from another startup."

Welcome to the team, Kerry

"Hi, I'm Kerry and I'm the new Senior Implementation Manager at UpKeep! I'm 32 and live in South Florida with my wife Anna, daughter Elliott, and two dogs Einstein (Corgi) and Momo (Shiba Inu). I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Critical Theory. I then promptly packed up everything and moved to Silicon Valley to work in QA for a Series A telecommunication startup. After that company was acquired I returned home and worked in Operations and Marketing for a growing bespoke menswear brand before being requited into the CMMS world by another company, where I was for 6 years and 14 days. During college, I also worked in motorsports where I assisted with the operations of a Porsche performance shop that operated racing campaigns all around the world in stage rallies (it sounds like a way more interesting job than it was, but I had loads of fun).

I started my career in software in quality assurance and managing a small support team. After taking a few years out of the software industry, I started back at the ground level in support, eventually moving to an on-site trainer, and then being offered an implementation position. In my previous role I implemented just about 300 customers.

I'm very excited to be in a fast moving environment where things can change day to day. I love taking on new challenges and not knowing what's going to happen next.

Welcome!
