Next up, we have Jeff Ignacio joining the UpKeep team this week! Jeff will be our Head of Revenue and Growth Operations, working on the Marketing team. He'll be a bridge between departments - aligning the work of our Marketing, Sales, and CS teams. Jeff, we're so excited for the collaboration and energy we know you'll be bringing to this role - here's to the journey ahead!

Hi! My name is Jeff Ignacio. I am so pumped to join UpKeep! A little bit about myself: I was born here in LA, raised in Riverside, and just recently moved back to LA after living in San Francisco for many years. I’m passionate about winning, winning as a team, and winning the right way. Prior to coming to UpKeep I worked in FP&A at Intel and Google. The last few years I’ve helped jumpstart startups to becoming “scale-ups” to “hyper growth companies”. Outside of work I’m a huge fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, outdoor music festivals, and traveling. If you love to travel to immerse yourself in the culture I’d love to exchange stories with you! As for alma maters I’m a proud UCLA Bruin and Michigan Wolverine. Go Bruins! Go Blue!
I kind of fell into it honestly. When I was at Google I was the FP&A partner for the Enterprise sales organization. There, I ran like a chicken with his head cut off trying to develop territories, quotas, sales efficiency metrics, and costs per various lead generation channels. From there I pivoted my career to get much closer to the customer in a Sales Analytics role at Metwater. I ran their analytics group focused on improving SaaS metrics such as churn, CAC, and LTV. Eventually at Visier I owned the end-to-end view from lead to opportunity partnering with both the CMO and CRO. Talk about learning the ropes by trial by fire!
I noticed UpKeep roughly 18 months ago. The company, Ryan, and the application had an incredible presence on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and G2. Later, I had lunch with Ryan and that hour cemented my interest. UpKeep’s focus on delighting its customers and focusing on improving their daily lives is a testament to having a True North. Customers always come first in my book, and People over Profits - always!

Hahahaha oh gosh. I didn’t expect this question! So my parents did NOT approve of my listening to hip hop records. I snuck off to the skate shop to buy these audio cassette tapes and later on CDs. I would play them on my portable music player to make sure my parents did not hear the verboten. Like most kids, I mimicked my heroes and started writing rhymes in a notebook. Eventually I started stacking notebooks on top of notebooks. In high school I finally had the courage to just belt out some rhymes and verses with others. I definitely did not look the part but that’s all good! Every artist has their own story to tell.
Definitely a spork. If I can serve multiple purposes to help others… then let it be!
