Welcoming Marsha Kim to the UpKeep family as a Sales Development Representative (SDR)!!

We're thrilled to have Marsha Kim joining the team this week! Marsha will be an SDR, coming from a background in many customer-facing roles. We know she's going to be a great addition to the frontlines of our customer experience!

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family, Marsha! Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a native Angeleno with a background in the hospitality industry. I am a travel enthusiast and have been to 6 different states and 12 different countries. Outside of work, you can catch me being a beach bum at one of the SoCal beaches.

How did you first get into Sales?

I first got into sales as a server where I was upselling items on the menu or dining areas. I love the competitive nature of sales and applying my knowledge about a product/service to enhance a customer’s experience.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

I am excited to join UpKeep because the company created an incredible product with the intention of revolutionizing the day-to-day lives of technicians. These individuals are often underappreciated and not provided with efficient tools and UpKeep strives to change that.

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

Everyone here is really friendly and truly love what they’re doing.

We have to know - how did you get into boxing? Are you still keeping up with it?

I was looking for a strenuous workout and wanted to strengthen my upper body. After my first session, I was hooked and I haven’t looked back. I usually go once a month but I’m trying to go more regularly now.

And finally, most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

Definitely a butter knife because I love when things run smoothly.
