We’re so excited to welcome Mark to the team this week! Mark is joining us as our Sr. Mid Market Account Executive, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board! Here is our interview with him!

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family today, Mark! Tell us a little about yourself! 

Hello UpKeep Family! My name is Mark and I can’t wait to work with the team to grow UpKeep revenue and take us to new heights!

How did you first get into Sales?

My first sales job was selling Cutco Knives door to door for Vector Marketing. It wasn’t the best job but it was an awesome experience to gain early in my career.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

During my interview process, I was fortunate enough to meet many folks in UpKeep’s leadership and speak to them about culture and future plans as well as had some additional insight from Todd Junker, our Sr. Customer Success manager. This company is built on the kind of foundation that will take us places and the people I have met and continue to meet are the proof in the pudding. This is the place to be!

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

Considering my experience prior to UpKeep, I couldn’t be more excited to work on a common goal with a team that works their asses off and stays positive in the process.

Mark, you mentioned how you visited over 30 countries. Amazing! What country has been your favorite so far and why?

I’d say it’s Portugal, because it has everything you’d want in a trip. The architecture, the people, the food, the weather and landscape are all absolutely amazing.

Finally, and most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

I have been using this all along, so I’m sticking to it - a spork.
