Overview
Wireless activity detection sensors can be used in a host of applications where detecting vibration, or sudden movement etc. is required. This version of the activity sensor detects sudden movement or non-movement of a given device or surface, and alerts you of the change.
How They Work
- The sensor measures accelerometers & vibration data using its integrated sensing element at configurable intervals.
- Readings are transmitted wirelessly via the protocol to the UpKeep Edge gateway with Encrypt-RF security.
- UpKeep Edge processes incoming data in real time, comparing readings against user-defined alert thresholds.
- When thresholds are breached, instant notifications are sent via text, email, or phone call to designated team members.
- All data is logged for historical trending, compliance reporting, and predictive maintenance analysis.
