Overview
Wireless Temperature Sensors use a thermistor encapsulated in a waterproof probe to accurately measure temperature and comes in various leaded and non-leaded options.
How They Work
- The sensor measures temperature data using its integrated sensing element at configurable intervals.
- Readings are transmitted wirelessly via the protocol to the UpKeep Edge gateway with Encrypt-RF security.
- UpKeep Edge processes incoming data in real time, comparing readings against user-defined alert thresholds.
- When thresholds are breached, instant notifications are sent via text, email, or phone call to designated team members.
- All data is logged for historical trending, compliance reporting, and predictive maintenance analysis.
Applications
- Cold chain monitoring
- HVAC validation
- Equipment temperature tracking
- Ambient environment monitoring
