"There were many examples where we demonstrate our core values, but our team absolutely demonstrated that at the beginning of pandemic where unknowns loom and panic set in. Not only would we at UpKeep be immediately impacted, but we realized our customers who operate manufacturing facilities or maintain critical energy infrastructures would be at risk. As an organization we immediately implemented several initiatives:
- Offered credits or refunds for companies who were experiencing financial hardship.
- Provided free software for non-profit organizations.
- Created health/safety related check-list templates.
- Helped displaced individuals resulting from pandemic-related layoffs find roles at other organizations.
- Created WFH policies that kept our UpKeep team safe.
All of these initiatives were spun up within a matter of days and had a lasting positive impact. Our team was all hands on deck to not only take care of our immediate team but to our customers who were in need of help.
