Welcoming Alex Robicheaux to the UpKeep Family!

We’re so excited to welcome Alex to the team this week! Alex is joining us as our Account Executive, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him on board! Here is our interview with him!

We’re excited to welcome you to the UpKeep family today, Alex! Tell us a little about yourself! 

Born and raised in Austin, TX, and went to the University of Texas at Austin. I have a wonderful wife named Ashley who is an Assistant Principal and a 10-year-old Rat Terrier named Chip. I am also the Chair of the Carson Cummings Film Scholarship for High School students in Austin - we have provided over $120,000 in College Scholarships since 2013 based upon students’ submission of an original short film.

How did you first get into Sales?

I had to sell discount cards door-to-door in High School for our Football team. After College, I was the first salesperson for a SaaS Security Incubator and kept going from there.

Why are you excited to join UpKeep?

Fantastic culture, highly-driven team, amazing product, and customer-first product mindset.

What are your first thoughts about the culture and team so far?

Very welcoming, friendly, supportive, outgoing, and everyone works with a sense of urgency.

Alex, you mentioned how you are a film buff! So we have to know — what is your favorite film genre and what is your all-time favorite movie?

Comedies and high-concept films are my favorite. Picking one film is probably the toughest question to ask me, so I’ll tell you my favorite films of the last year: Tenet, Parasite, and JoJo Rabbit.

Finally, and most importantly, what would you be if you were a kitchen utensil?

I’d be a spork, because I’m versatile and always down to pick up some food.
