Welcome to our release notes, published every Tuesday and Thursday! These notes cover additional features and bug fixes that improve your experience with UpKeep. In today's post, read about our latest Web and iOS updates!
When selecting a Location, our list display retains the display of hierarchical relationships, making it easier to find and select the correct location. Additionally, users can now select a parent location and automatically include all its sublocations in one action, significantly reducing the need for tedious, individual selections. Now available on Parts & Inventory, Assets, Work Order 2.0 Beta, Requests, and Preventive Maintenance list pages!
We're making ongoing progress in refining our Work Order 2.0 Beta based on your valuable feedback. This update includes Archived and Bookmarked Work Order filtering, changes to the Past Due icon, clickable images, ability to delete comments, buttons to add cost, labor, and parts, filtering by unassigned WOs, improved readability of comments and more!
We've resolved an issue where previously, Arabic and special characters appeared as box-shaped symbols. This update ensures that all characters are now displayed correctly.
We've corrected an issue in the Work Order Updates section where images could not be enlarged by simply clicking on them. Users can now click directly on any image to view it in an enlarged format, similar to the functionality previously enjoyed with images from Work Orders. This fix restores intuitive and consistent image interaction, improving user experience.
We've repaired the functionality that allows users to add a Vendor to an Asset without encountering a blank white page in the process.
We've resolved user interface issues with our "Scan" function, ensuring a smoother and more reliable scanning experience.
We've fixed an issue where the loading spinner was blocking the user interface during prolonged loading of the API.
We've addressed an issue where parts set quantities were not displaying correctly when assigned to Work Orders on iOS. Previously, the quantity defaulted to 1, differing from the quantities specified in the web app. This fix ensures that the correct number of parts is shown on mobile devices, aligning with web app settings and reducing confusion for technicians on the ground.
We've corrected an issue where Work Orders with custom statuses were not appearing on the Asset Work Order page. This update ensures that all Work Orders, regardless of their custom status, are now properly displayed.
We've improved the Work Order completion process by ensuring that a custom 'Complete' status is set as the default when finishing a Work Order with an active timer.
Following a previous fix on our Web platform, we've now corrected an issue where deactivated users were still appearing as selectable options when creating a Work Order.
We've improved the display of image counts on Work Orders. Now, when more than 10 images are uploaded, the count label remains fully visible and unobstructed.
