Join Rachel Wittlin, Manager of Professional Services, and Senior Product Manager Spencer Nelson as they unveil the latest updates designed to enhance your maintenance management experience.
Welcome back to another exciting episode of Product Release Friday with UpKeep! This week, we’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates designed to enhance your maintenance management experience. Join us as we dive into the details of these fantastic new features, demonstrated by our Manager of Professional Services, Rachel Wittlin, and Senior Product Manager, Spencer Nelson.
One of the standout updates this week is the new and improved Work Order List Experience, now available for Beta testing. This feature allows you to customize columns and enjoy a streamlined interface, making it easier to navigate and manage your work orders. Spencer will show you how to enable this feature within your account and demonstrate the new functionalities. This update aims to bring consistency across different portions of the application, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
In keeping with our goal of consistency, we’ve also released a new interface for meters. This sleek new UI matches the modern look and feel of other parts of the application, enhancing the overall user experience. The updated interface ensures that managing your meters is as efficient and straightforward as possible.
For those using our Edge product, we now have the ability to filter assets by custom fields. This enhancement allows you to pull in any custom fields to help identify your assets more easily. Whether you’re tracking a large number of assets or needing specific identification criteria, this new feature will streamline your asset management process.
We’ve made a significant update to our mobile application, enhancing our recently released voice activation feature. You can now access all voice-activated requests within the mobile app. This means you can reference past voice recordings and take necessary actions based on those recordings. It’s a step towards making maintenance management more accessible and hands-free.
On the backend, we've improved our mobile app performance. This update enables us to gather more information when something doesn't work as expected, helping our team troubleshoot more effectively. It reduces the back-and-forth communication about application versions and provides a smoother user experience.
Lastly, we’ve introduced the ability to associate vendors via the API. For those integrating with UpKeep, this means you can now assign vendors directly to work orders through the API, making your workflow more seamless and efficient.
During our release session, we provide a hands-on demonstration of these new features. We show you how to navigate the updated Work Order List Experience, how to use the new meter interface, and how to filter assets by custom fields in Edge. We also demonstrate accessing voice-activated requests in the mobile app and explain the benefits of the improved mobile app performance and API vendor association.
As we wrap up this episode, we want to express our gratitude to all UpKeep customers and the entire team for their hard work. We invite you to explore these new features and provide feedback to help us continue to grow and improve. Your input is invaluable in helping us enhance your maintenance management experience.
