Welcome back to another exciting episode of Product Release Friday with UpKeep! This week, we’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates designed to enhance your maintenance management experience. Join us as we dive into the details of these fantastic new features, demonstrated by our CEO Ryan Chan and Senior Product Manager Spencer Nelson.
One of the standout updates this week is the ability to create purchase orders with custom costs using our APIs. This feature provides more flexibility in managing your expenses, allowing you to tailor purchase orders to your specific needs. Whether you’re handling unique project requirements or adjusting for market fluctuations, this update ensures that your financial management remains precise and adaptable.
We’ve also made significant improvements to our analytics, accounting for location-based permissions and including start dates in the work order import/export process. These enhancements are designed to provide more accurate and detailed insights, helping you make better-informed decisions and streamline your maintenance operations.
Navigating your work orders just got easier with our updated assets page. Now, you can pull up work orders without being redirected to a different page. This new modal displays all the necessary information within the context of the asset page, allowing for quicker access and better efficiency. Spencer will walk you through exactly how to find and use this new feature, showcasing its benefits in real-time.
To help you better manage your purchase orders, we’ve introduced a new tagging feature. If you have hundreds or even thousands of purchase orders, you can now easily tag, filter, and find them. This functionality simplifies your workflow, enabling you to categorize and locate purchase orders swiftly and efficiently.
We understand the importance of QR codes in modern maintenance management. That’s why we’ve made printing and labeling so much easier with our new single label QR code format for parts. This enhancement allows for quick and efficient labeling, ensuring that your parts are easily identifiable and trackable. Spencer will demonstrate how to use this feature, including the process of printing and applying individual labels.
During our release session, we provide a hands-on demonstration of these new features. We will show you how to navigate the updated assets page and view work orders within the same context. We'll also walkthrough the process of tagging and filtering purchase orders and the steps to print individual QR code labels for parts.
As we wrap up this episode, we want to express our gratitude to all UpKeep customers and the entire team for their hard work. We invite you to explore these new features and provide feedback to help us continue to grow and improve. Feel free to reach out directly at [email protected].
Stay tuned for more exciting updates and enhancements coming your way. Until next time, happy maintaining!
