UpKeep's Sweet Cookie Exchange

The Facts

Quarantine can be lonely. Several months have already passed since many companies have shifted to remote work, and on top of that, it's probably safe to say that social distancing recommendations will remain in place for months to come. With limited social connections and prolonged isolation, fatigue and stress can set in more frequently throughout our days and weeks.

At UpKeep, we know that this time can be particularly grueling for many of our teammates. With our team's well-being at top of mind, we are always trying to innovate new ways to interact with each other, even under such extraordinary circumstances.

Cookie Connection

Tip: keep friendships alive with small acts of kindness!

To make quarantine a little less lonely, we decided to hold a Cookie Exchange! Anyone who wants to participate signs up on a thread in Slack. And, once sign ups are closed, everyone is then secretly assigned a random person they must give a batch of homemade or store-bought cookies to, as well as a little note of gratitude!

The Cookie Exchange was a huge hit, and it was the perfect way to lift spirits up and keep our team connected during these times! Here are some pictures of UpKeepers receiving their cookies!
