CC - Press Button Sensor, UpKeep Edge wireless sensor

Overview

The touch activated wireless button sensor allows a notification signal to be sent when immediate contact is important. This button includes an LED response indicator to confirm that the system has received the alert.

How They Work

  1. The sensor measures button press data using its integrated sensing element at configurable intervals.
  2. Readings are transmitted wirelessly to the UpKeep Edge gateway via the 900 MHz protocol, with Encrypt-RF security.
  3. UpKeep Edge processes incoming data in real time, comparing readings against user-defined alert thresholds.
  4. When thresholds are breached, instant notifications are sent via text, email, or phone call to designated team members.
  5. All data is logged for historical trending, compliance reporting, and predictive maintenance analysis.

Applications

  • Service request alerts
  • Manual event logging
  • Network verification
