vs Fiix
A CMMS built for 2026. Not 2016.
Fiix Foresight AI is paywalled. Their mobile app is dated. UpKeep ships Nova AI on every plan, a modern mobile-first experience and Studio, Learn, Fleet and Edge as native modules Fiix simply doesn't have.
- Nova AI is included on every plan. Fiix Foresight sits behind the $75 Professional tier and predictive maintenance (ARP) is a paid add-on on top of that.
- Mobile-first, not mobile-last. Fiix's mobile app has documented sync issues and feature parity gaps. UpKeep technicians live in the mobile app.
- Studio, Learn, Fleet and Edge are native modules. Fiix offers none of these. You either integrate or live without them.
- 24/7 live chat on every paid plan. Fiix offers email and phone support with reviewer-cited slow response times.

1. AI on every plan
AI that actually shows up for work
Fiix Foresight — their AI product — is reserved for Professional ($75/user/month) and Enterprise plans. The Asset Risk Predictor, their predictive maintenance tool, is a separate paid add-on on top of that.
Nova is included on every UpKeep plan. It drafts work orders, flags recurring failure modes, audits your data on a schedule and answers plain-English questions. No upsell, no add-on, no Rockwell ecosystem required.
Nova included. Not gated to Professional+.
Nova add-on cost. Fiix ARP is priced separately.
2. Studio
Build the apps you need. No engineers required.
Fiix has no no-code app builder. Custom workflows mean building on their low-code engine, filing product requests or working around gaps with spreadsheets.
Studio lets anyone describe what they need in plain language and ship an app in minutes. Every app reads and writes your real UpKeep data. 49+ pre-built apps for common operations workflows.
3. Platform breadth
One login. Every module.
Maintenance is just the start. Run safety, learning, fleet and IoT monitoring in the same platform. Same login, same data model, same mobile app.

4. Customer success

Questions teams ask before switching
Can I import my Fiix data into UpKeep?
Yes. Assets, preventive maintenance schedules, work order history, parts inventory and vendor records can all be imported. Our CS team handles the data mapping and validates everything with you before go-live.
We're heavy Rockwell/FactoryTalk users. Does UpKeep fit?
Yes. UpKeep connects to Rockwell environments through native integrations and our public API. You keep your PLC/SCADA stack and get modern CMMS + AI on top. Many of our manufacturing customers run Rockwell alongside UpKeep.
How does UpKeep pricing compare to Fiix?
Fiix Professional runs $75/user/month and still doesn't include the AI add-ons. UpKeep is priced comparably but includes Nova AI, Studio, Learn, Fleet and 24/7 support. When you add what you'd actually need from Fiix, UpKeep is materially cheaper.
Will my technicians actually adopt it?
UpKeep is mobile-first and was built for the floor. Reviewers consistently flag Fiix's mobile app as dated with sync issues. Our technicians use the mobile app as their primary interface, not an afterthought.
Can I try UpKeep before committing?
Yes. Book a walkthrough and we'll set up a sandbox with your actual data. Run both systems in parallel during evaluation.
What happens to my Fiix contract?
Most teams time the switch to the end of their Fiix term. If you're mid-contract, we can structure onboarding to keep total spend flat during the overlap.
